So I'm rewatching Teen Wolf, and I used to write a lot (like a metric shit ton) of Teen Wolf fic, and I keep having these moments where upon rewatching a decade later I'm like 'I can't believe I wrote that pairing, that absolutely doesn't appeal to me/doesn't make sense, they have no chemistry/🤮'

I also watched the latest Strange New Worlds ep last night (the Lower Decks crossover), and I was thinking today how much I wanted there to be more Boimler and Spock interaction, so I could write some Boimler/Spock fic, because for no reason at all, I wanted to do that.

Then it hit me. I'm so fucking spoiled with Supernatural, which has a juicy slash ship served up on a fucking platter, with the epic interaction and the epic interpersonal shit right there on the screen Every Fucking Episode, that I'm apparently way out of the common fandom practice of making cute boys fuck just because you can, even if they barely interact on screen, or seem to have no chemistry, or sometimes make you want to barf 🤷‍♂️

No wonder I haven't found a new fandom since Supernatural ended, I've gotten soft. Time to flex some muscles I haven't used in years and make cute boys fuck just because I can. Especially when Spock/Boimler could be a thing, and it doesn't make me want to barf (on the contrary, it's giving me all sorts of positive feels).
