I owe a lot to my fellow fandom coders for these generators, due to the fact that I'm entirely javascript-illiterate. The bones of the generator come from a random image script I've been using for years and have no idea where it originally came from, but the finishing touches absolutely came from the fancoders discord, and the community there is greatly appreciated.

Monster of the Week

A Monster Generator for the Supernatural Fandom

The idea for this came from having the desire to write fic, but not knowing where to start. I most often write close-to-canon, and casefic or fic-on-the-periphery-of-a-job is where I am most comfortable. But for that I need monsters. New monsters, all the time. I've written so many ghosts, vampires, and werewolves it's becoming a theme, so I need a new monster every now and then.

Boom. Monster Generator. Click the button below for a shiny new monster every week! Or day. Or second. I won't judge.

Monster reference on Superwiki. There are a few monsters in the generator that aren't canon, FYI.

MacGuffin Generator

A MacGuffin Generator for the Supernatural Fandom. What is a MacGuffin?

Random Word Generator

A Random Word Prompt Generator.

Built for the use of anyone who might need a random word prompt from time to time.

Season Generator

A Supernatural Season Generator.

'Writing Our Own Story' refers to the period of time between the end of 15x19 and the beginning of 15x20. This time period could be anywhere from 6 months to five years, depending on where you get your information.

'Post-Canon' could be wig!Sam or Heaven Fic or an AU of some sort IDK do whatever you like 🤣

Location Generator

A Location Generator for the Supernatural Fandom.

There's a couple of crossover-bait locations here. Don't like it? Click again!

There's also a lot of generic locations here, so if Supernatural isn't your fandom, keep clicking until you find something you can work with 😁

Trope Generator

A Trope Generator for Any Fandom.

There's a lot of kink or smut tropes here, but there are lots of gen ones, too, so if that's not your bag, just keep clicking till there's something you can use.

Some of these likely stretch the definition of trope, IDK, but anything that helps to spark new fic works here, I think.

Like prompts? How about plot bunnies? I've got a website full of plot bunnies. Check out all the fic I wanted to write but didn't!
