I’ve been reworking my website this week. It was kinda boring, and it wasn’t sparking joy, so I spent a week up to my eyeballs in html, css, and trying not to break the thing while also making it have a working ‘blog’ section.

Having a blog on my website is weird. Like I’m way out of practise at legit blogging, hell, my pillowfort is these roundups and that’s about it, and I’m not sure it’s worth continuing them here.

I’d honestly love to go back to the old ways where we kept up with fandom stuff using RSS 🤣 But you can funnel an RSS feed to tumblr, and you can do it on dreamwidth, too.

Neocities (where my site lives) provides an RSS feed, so to be honest there’s no reason why I shouldn't move all my blog-type longform stuff there (ETA: for some reason my Neocities RSS isn't working, but I'm still crossposting to PF, so they can still be followed). Especially since there’s very little in the way of actual fandom interaction here (sorry PF, you’re adorable, but it’s just not happening yet).

Anyway. If anyone is actually reading this 🤣 here’s my link , and I may start posting these updates there as of next week.

I had an epiphany about surveillance and algorithms in the middle of a twitter thread: those who complain about seeing porn everywhere probably talk about it too much.

I’ve temporarily locked my twitter account because an anti was making socks as fast as I could block them. Okay so maybe I asked for it 🤣 but they’re so goddamn annoying!

I’ve been making an effort to search for ‘proship dni’ and block as many of the little shits as I can find because if I see a stupid-ass take I can’t help but open my mouth.
